The crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s take around 2hrs and 45 minutes, giving you a unique perspective of some of Cornwall’s most iconic coastline. There are comfy, reclining seats as well as our on-board café, Western Rocks Coffee Co, serving hot and cold drinks and snacks. Dogs are welcome in most areas of the ship but please keep them on a lead and to the designated areas.
SKYBUS FLIGHTS
Skybus is the fastest year-round service flying to and from the Isles of Scilly. The journey takes just 20 minutes from Land’s End Airport to St. Mary’s, 30 minutes from Newquay Airport, and from Exeter it’s an hour. PENZANCE HELICOPTERS
Fly direct to Tresco and St Mary's aboard Penzance Helicopters, flying from the new Penzance Heliport from March 2020.
Penzance Helicopters will reinstate helicopter flights to Tresco and St Mary’s on the Isles of Scilly – the only service providing direct flights to Tresco Island.
Flights begin from 17th March 2020, flying all year round aboard the state-of-the-art AW139 helicopter, with up to 17 return flights per day and a flight time of just 15 minutes.
Enjoy excellent connectivity by road and rail to the new Penzance Heliport, just off the A30 with 270 on-site parking spaces and just one mile from Penzance railway station by electric shuttle bus.
The near sea level location of the heliport and the capabilities of the helicopter will deliver superior weather resilience for flights to the Isles of Scilly.
